that means I need to complete another 30 credits, and there's no guarantee I'll be able to finish all of them within that given 6 month time line.
and their cost went up abit, it's $3k now for 6 months.
$3k is still cheaper than the alternatives, and you're looking at 3-6 months either way.
At TESU, assuming you're transferring in 116 credits, you're looking at $300 for the cornerstone, $1098 for the capstone, $2200 for the residency waiver, and $332 for the graduation fee or $3,930. And you'll probably still be looking at 6 months before you can graduate. If you don't complete the cornerstone before July 1st, you can change that $300 to $1098 ($798 more) and add a second 3-month course. This all assumes you come in with a Study.com affiliate discount. So you'll need to take at least two courses there (which you may have already done) and transfer them to TESU before they will honor the discounts.
At WGU, you'll be looking at taking 30 credits, but you'll probably burn through those quickly. If you are well-versed in the material, or if you have to repeat some GenEd courses, each of those shouldn't take more than a day or two to finish so they'll go by quickly. Heck, some people have completed their entire bachelor's degree in less than 6 months. At WGU you're looking at $3520 all-in, assuming you finish in a single 6-month term. I suspect you can be done there in 3-months with your new diploma in hand.
At NAU, you're looking at $3000, but like with WGU you'll probably end up having to repeat courses you took via alt. ed means. I don't know how the NAU competency system works, but if its like WGU, you should be able to complete courses as fast or faster there than you could via CLEP, Study.com, or Straighterline.
