Only a few of TESC's degrees require a lab. These are usually STEM-related degrees, and the degree plan will say a lab is required. For communications, a lab is not required. You certainly are choosing difficult tests just to meet the science requirements for a communications degree. The Chemistry CLEP just might be the hardest out there.
Sort of off topic, but many schools actually give lab credits for some CLEPs and DSSTs, TESC does not.
