Will "Passbooks" provide good information?

I ordered a couple of passbooks and I'm hoping it's not just sample tests.... I read the description and it says question and answer. I really need to read up on some subjects though. Does anyone know about passbooks? Please let me know if you do!!!

Some of the passbooks (speaking of DANTES/DSST exams here) have a section in the back that goes over some of the material that an exam would cover, but most of the ones I've checked out of our library here are mostly just multiple choice questions, complete with an answer sheet for you to use.

I found them very dry, and not really useful IMO. Have you checked out free-clep-prep, as well as your library for these?

Edit: If you've signed up for the flashcards, the Feedback section also has fantastic notes and other resources available to them.
