I want to apply for TESC, but I do have some credits from my previous colleges which I know they will transfer. What I want to know is should I take Cleps before I apply for TESC or after I get in.
I want to get as many credits as possible for my degree and not sure how I should approach this.
Thanks guys for all the help.

Yes, you can take CLEPs and have them sent to TESC even before you enroll.

I would take your CLEPs first and then enroll. That way if you have any classes that you have to take you arn't wasting your tuition while studying for CLEPs.

I am enrolled at TESC and I took my Cleps 1st. I had set up a nice degree plan and was working it. Once I thought I was close, I enrolled at TESC.
First of all, it took them 7 weeks to do my evaluation.
Second, once they did the eval, there were a few thing that I missed. That little oversight pushed my graduation back nearly 10 months.
I would encourage you to pay the 75 bucks, get an evaluation and work off of that. That way, you have some assurance that you are taking the correct exams and can ask questions of the advisors.
Otherwise, u are almost certainly going to overlook something small and cost yourself some time and/or money.
