Me thinks he should have been banned long ago and for longer than a month considering the hate and discontent he has caused (as proven by our brave OP here). I'm sure I'm not the only user on here with him on the ignore list...

If you don't like what you read, you don't need to click or read the thread. Just because something offends you doesn't mean it should be suppressed. A few decades ago advocating for civil rights for blacks was frowned upon, a 150 years ago protesting/attacking slavery in America would make you a target by a community - that's just mob mentality.
While others have made racist, sexist, and personal attacks, I have tried to remain objective, and refrain from making incendiary, inflammatory comments.
Sometimes opinions are controversial - of course it's going to create some hatred by some forum regulars who may believe otherwise and feel that their perceived sense of "authority" or "correctness" is being challenged, however, creating discontent simply because is just promoting censorship. If that's what this is about, then you're basically advocating for pushing a particular ideology or agenda, much like a cult...
My posts aren't solely for the entertainment or a derision of a few forum regulars alone. It's for a greater audience including lurkers, spectators, and anyone who wants to learn more about their options; I never said my way or the highway, which I've said multiple times now. If my advice or discussion helps someone, then I consider that a success.
But I digress, best of luck to you in all your endeavors.

I'm on your ignore list, but you reading my post, catching feelings... and still upset over comments I made a year ago. How terrible it is to be old, sad, and dry.
And didn't you say a year ago I was on your ignore list, but you still responding to me via a means of others. Such a lame you are.
And... I'll be right back.

Easy, he wasn't talking about you. He was talking about ExFactor's comment. No need to be so defensive.

Ah I see, I apologize for the misunderstanding. In any case, I do agree though that the topic has become repetitive, and discussed and exhausted to death. I think all sides made good arguments, and it was never my contention that my way is the only way it works. If there's anything I hope that can be gained from the discussion is that people are able to make a decision that's best for themselves, to consider all viewpoints - and for at least people to consider and weigh what each and every person has to say (even ExFactor who believes that Indians are stupid and taxi drivers - lol ). Truth is like a diamond with many different facets. I apologize if my initial title thread offended anyone, which I typed in haste not realizing how it would be interpreted, or any other comment that may have been misinterpreted or taken out of context as well.
Good luck to everyone in their endeavors.

It's amazing how a selection of parasites are calling for my ban, due to the fact you don't like what I have to say. Yet, the OP can easily be found on a Google search, disrupting the flow of various forums. You people are pressed, and still holding on to your caught feelings due to the comment some stranger made across the internet. Months, and even a year have went by, and you are upset at a comment I made, when we have only stated words to each other once? You are obviously the weakest link. The op has demeaned various people in this thread, with his superiority complex, and just because I mentioned an obvious fact about Indian degrees, I'm now a racist? You people are a joke. What I stated was a fact. Visit your average immigrant community, Nigerian, Ethiopian etc you will find many who were doctors and engineers back home, who are now taxi drivers, cooks, maids etc in western countries, and I'm not changing what I said, because what I said was a fact. After the degrees of the big 3 has been projected to being worthless, and me mentioning the fact that Indian degrees are largely worthless outside of India, I'm now a racist? Chain. Chain. Chain.

1) When someone quotes you, your posts show up on theirs which is how I was reading what you were writing here. I see that since my words incited a renewed fervor within you, you had to reply without thinking your words through here. Understandable coming from someone like you.
2) I took you off my ignore after I posted what I did just to see if you were still trolling (and you are) - test passed
3) Your simple minded outbursts and irrelevant opinions only validate the fact that you should probably be banned.
4) Welcome to my ignore list again. I'm sure you have something profound to retort with, but sadly I'm done with you again...
5) I feel slimy just acknowledging you exist by wasting my time to type this post out.
6) Have a nice day, if that's even possible...
PS. A year ago you didn't say anything to me per se. You made it on my ignore list by belittling someone else. I just made a comment about it, which obviously you have a problem with...

Yet, I have your brain, and have you caught in your feelings for over a year. So how exactly is it to feel pressed via a strangers thoughts on a message board? You have been waiting on an opportunity to reply to me for over a year. Fervor? You can't be serous, right? Are you not the one who quoted a member on here only to mention my name, or what you think a mod should do to me, just because I hurt your poor little feelings last year. Your heart skipped a beat. Now answer this, why is it that I had to reach back in the corners of my brain to remember who you were, while you still have been pressed over little old me? You are sad.
dposborne Wrote:2) I took you off my ignore after I posted what I did just to see if you were still trolling (and you are) - test passed
Lie. I was never on your ignore list, I seen you on my page months ago. Still upset, at one little comment I made over a year ago.
dposborne Wrote:3) Your simple minded outbursts and irrelevant opinions only validate the fact that you should probably be banned. Responding to a troll, while defending a school where I projected thousands of dollars into is not an outburst. Pick up a book, and learn the difference. Secondly, you want me banned because I have you caught in your weak emotions. I will just assume your are over there looking at your computer screen looking all pale and dusty.
dposborne Wrote:4) Welcome to my ignore list again. I'm sure you have something profound to retort with, but sadly I'm done with you again...
Lie. You are obsessed with me, just like I said you were on my page a couple months ago, going through my post, because I have you caught in your feelings, and what really is a ban gonna do? I'll come right back.
dposborne Wrote:5) I feel slimy just acknowledging you exist by wasting my time to type this post out.
You should feel slimy knowing you are obviously suffering for a mental disorder, and how a stranger has you in your feelings.
dposborne Wrote:6) Have a nice day, if that's even possible...
I will, now move along before I hex you with some witches brew.

Hello Guys -
I'm weighing in here regarding the name calling and keyboard jousting that seems to have infiltrated and derailed the original thread discussion. As such I would remind one and all, old and new alike, to keep it civil and on point. Please be mindful that many current and potential IC-Forum-Classroom students may come across this thread and opt not to become members of our IC-Community so please return this discussion to the original topic and refrain from any further mud slinging so as to avoid any consequences.
Thanks.

It doesn't necessarily make you a racist, but it does make you wrong. It's true that many people in immigrant communities are working jobs of lower economic status than the ones for which they were trained in their countries of origin, but you're completely discounting how challenging it can be to re-enter one's profession in a new country where one has a lack of professional connections and in many cases significant regulatory and other procedural hurdles to clear before being eligible for that sort of employment.

I'm not sure whether it's more fitting here to refer to the 2012 Harvard cheating scandal, or the decades long UNC academics-athletics scandal, so I'll just do both.
