Well done on the College Algebra!

Before I forget to ask, did you happen to get any AP credit in high school?

Thank you! and unfortunately no.. I went all the way through high school and was short credits to graduate.. I was one class short but didn't continue because i was young and had my first kid early. I ended up pursuing my GED at 19 years old and going straight into a University which my employer gave me a recommendation letter to get in. I had more children in between that time so i just have been slowly trying to finish my degree. I did other courses in between those years to help me start out my career. I always knew I wanted to teach so I ended up applying as a Substitute Paraprofessional for the school's and working in a few different districts. Later down the road I did work study at a community college and interviewed for a para position. They liked me a lot and offered me a Teacher Position in the Preschool. I gained experience there and took some child development courses which led me to where I am now. I currently Substitute Teach in Preschool for 3 different districts but I passed my CBEST so I can now sub in grades k-12. I also sub for clerical, health clerk, and para. I never turn down an opportunity to learn a new skill so I am constantly finding ways to take free courses. I just recently got an Office Management Certificate, and I am doing a Substitute Teacher Certificate. I work in Retail part time too. I want to finish this degree for my 6 kids, and my family who always felt like I ruined my chances of being successful because of having my first child young.

Good for you! You should be proud of yourself just for getting this far!

I am still working on your plan. I am putting in as many DSSTs and cheaper UExcel exams as I can. It will probably be tomorrow though.

Thank you for making this plan for me I know time is valuable so know that it is appreciated. Although I wish that I could have been done with my Bachelors by now I am proud I have made it this far and that I am doing what I should do to support the kids. I really wish I had gone this route years ago.. I found this forum a long time ago but was always skeptical of doing it myself.

Here is the tl;dr:

You need these credits from these sources:
Need SL English Composition II 3
Need UExcel or DSST Business Ethics 3UL
Need SL or Saylor Business Communications 3LL
Need EC Liberal Arts Capstone LA 498 3UL
Need EC, Tor or Coopersmith Information Literacy 1

Then I put the 12 upper level Arts and Sciences hours that looked most manageable for you at the end of the Arts and Sciences credits.

Need DSST Civil War and Reconstruction 3UL
Need UExcel World Conflicts since 1900 HISX-340 3U
Need UExcel World Population SOCX-330 3UL
Need UExcel Juvenile Delinquency SOCX-320 3UL

You could replace any of those with the DSST History of the Vietnam War, History of the Soviet Union, or any of the upper level UExcel Arts and Sciences (really, mostly Social Sciences) credits. I tried to pick the cheaper ones.
