OK I have looked around some but I could not find these specific answers. I am taking my first Straighterline course Criminal Justice. I enrolled at Straighterline on Sept 15. So as I understand it I will be charged another$99 on Oct 13, Is that right? So if I complete my final tomorrow Oct 8, can I cancel my account immediately?
How do I transfer the course to my ACE account? Di I have to have Transfer confirmation before I can cancel Straighterline?
I really don't want to waste another$99 dollars because of a miscalculation. Thank you for any advice.

What you want to do for all of this is to log into your SL account (not the blackboard).
Under “Manage Subscriptions” you’ll see when the next billing date is. This is also where you can cancel your subscription.
(Still in main SL account) To transfer your credits, select “Request Your Transcript” and from here you can send your credits over to ACE, a Partner college, etc.
You don't have to have transfer confirmation before canceling your SL account.

How do I cancel my course subscription?
To terminate your monthly subscription and cancel your recurring billing, you need to log on to your StraighterLine account (login at
http://www.straighterline.com/site/login.cfm) and under your "Manage Subscriptions" tab click the Cancel button next to your Status. If you have any problems please email or call your student Advisor before your next re-billing. Re-billing occurs every 28 days.

In attempts to improve academic integrity StraighterLine will require any course purchased on or after November 1st to use proctoring for each course's final exam. This only affects courses purchased on or after November 1st, 2012. Pricing for the $99 subscription model currently requires a one-time $39 registration fee. It will raise to $49 to accommodate the cost. Pricing models for $399 a la carte and $999 Freshman year will see no pricing changes.
