I am studying for the Clep biology exam and while taking the FCP practice exam I noticed several questions about meiosis and its stages, particularly the stages within Prophase 1 (leptotene, zygotene, etc). Do I need to learn these "substages" within Prophase 1? When I saw these questions on FCP, I was clueless
. I had never heard of these stages (or at least I don't remember hearing of them) before. Should I bother learning these or does clep not focus on these stages?
I scored 71% on the Free Clep Prep practice test, and 58% (took it cold to gauge where I was) on the Peterson's printable test. I felt like I only really knew 25% of the questions on both tests; the other 75% I was never sure of the answer, many of which I was completely guessing. I realize I still have a lot of study left and I plan on taking the rest of the peterson's tests and the official clep study guide test. If am still scoring above 55%, am I ready for the real exam? Is biology a test you go into feeling unprepared?
Thanks ahead of time for any help, I really appreciate it.
