Hi i want to know what do this means at the website of Excelsior 
General Education Exams

$470 per exam
Various exams are available to satisfy general education requirements (credits per exam range from 1 to 6 credits).

I read they require to complete 12 credits by them or pay the multiscore option.

UExcel's are EC's in-house exams, and are widely accepted at many schools across the country (and specifically mentioned in catalogs). They do NOT count for residency at EC. They are just another way to get credits.
