I'm on the hunt for upper level Literature courses, but would really like to test out. I was prepared to take the Eng Lit GRE until I learned COSC awards only 3 UL hours for it! (The remaining 15 hr credits are LL).
I will probably take the Am Lit CLEP for 6 more LL credits, but what I really need are upper level credits. Any thoughts? I see no DSST, SL or FEMA that offers UL credits. Am I overlooking something?

For UL credit by exam options, look at Ohio University credit by exam.
I'd check before taking the Am Lit CLEP if you are planning to do the GRE option because it's probably duplicative, and, frankly, it's probably much easier to do the non-GRE option since A&I, Am Lit and Brit Lit are six credits each.

Thank you- I'll check out OU. I'm not taking the GRE since I learned Charter Oak breaks down the 18 hour credits in 15 lower level and only 3 towards upper level! Forget it. I took the A & I CLEP yesterday and will take the Am Lit in Nov and Brit Lit in Jan. But that still leaves me with no upper level credits and I really want to be done in the spring so I'm on a mission. Thanx for the lead.
