Hi everyone, I came across Pillar College NJ. They're located close to me and have a great program called LEAD and have CLEP, Online, and PLA's. They only offer a few degrees and one of them is a BA in Business Administration. I never came across a BA in Business Administration, only BS in Business Administration. Is there a huge difference?
Thanks.

It varies from school to school, and it is difficult to generalize the differences. However, the differences will lie in the distribution of arts & sciences, applied professional, and free elective requirements. It will be a different spread of credits for the BS and the BA, even for the same major. I am not a business major, but I believe as long as the school has professional accreditation (AACSB, ACBSP, IACBE), you'll be okay.

Yeah, I'm sure it varies. At Excelsior, a BA has 90 credits of arts and sciences required, with the other 30 being anything, including applied professional credits. The same major as a BS would require 60 credits of arts and sciences and the other 60 can be anything.

In several liberal arts programs I have seen, the difference is whether one takes 6 credits of a foreign language or six additional credits of lab science courses.

Thanks guys. They have the credits distributed by 45 Credits in Gen Ed, 27 Credits for Free Electives and 48 Credits in Organizational Leadership Track. I the only accreditation they have listed on their site is Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE).

I believe that the RA (MSCHE) accreditation will be fine for an undergraduate degree. The professional accreditations are more for graduate school, so just keep an eye out for that when it's time for grad school.
