If I recall, they were giving a free course for an interview. Is that SPAM? What rule violation did they make?

cookderosa may have the reason why the thread was deleted and the account banned. She stated--

I don't know if the survey was real or legitimate but the original poster was banned because he created an account with the sole purpose of promoting a commercial endeavor (Straighterline) and within minutes of signing up, posted the same link in three different threads (spam).
