It's been quite a journey... And now I'm just six days away from enrolling in TESC. I've got six online courses to take and two TECEPs as well. Here's my question: How feasible is it to take on three online courses at a time? I've been planning on taking two at a time, but then I realized that if I'd take three instead I'd be done three months sooner. But just how possible is it? Would my grades suffer as a result? And how bushed would I be?
Here's the online courses I have to take:
Auditing
Intermediate Accounting II
Advanced Accounting I
International Finance
Risk Management
Fundraising for Nonprofits
I was thinking about taking Auditing and International Finance, but maybe that's not the best combo? And if I did three, which would be best?
Thanks for your input everyone!

Well I took 1 online class & 1 PLA in September 2012 & then added another PLA in October thinking that staggering them would help but with working 6 days a week at my job & still having to deal with hubby & kids at home, I have to tell you I was overwhelmed. Nevertheless, I did pass both PLAs & got an A in the online class but I was pretty stressed out when it came to deadlines. As in, I was frequently not making them. I would hand in my assignments sometimes several days late but to their credit, my instructors were willing to work with me & I am eternally grateful they did.
Hope this helps!

I wouldn't take 3 UL accounting courses at one time if I were you, but maybe your mileage will vary.

I took three courses at a time from July '11 to March '12 semesters, and tacked studying for CLEPs, DSSTs, and completing two Penn Foster courses at the same time, and got almost all As (with an A- and a B mixed in). How doable it is will depend on you, your lifestyle, ability to organize and multitask, and the course combinations you choose (this last is very important). I worked full-time, husband and special needs son, and managed to do it, but had zero free time and gave up sleep on more than one occasion so be prepared to head to work after being up all night writing papers. You will have very little room for big time-consuming issues (I got very sick in the Mar'12 semester, and despite carrying 3 courses all the semesters before, had to drop one or risk grades.) A couple of those included three ULs, and those three-month periods had stressful moments. Prepare yourself for insanity, but there will be periods of time that are almost easy to manage.
I think it's doable - I mean, it's done - and when you hit those tough timeframes where multiple assignments are due, work is hectic, and family demands more time than you have to give...you know you'll be done on X date so just keep reminding yourself it isn't forever, and you'll get through it and save yourself three months. Put all assignments for all the courses in a spreadsheet by deadline date before you even start the semester and try to work ahead. When life throws curveballs - and it will choose the most inconvenient time - having a couple days' buffer on due dates is invaluable to preserving some sanity.

The accounting courses at TESC have alot of HW. I took both of the lower level ones at TESC and the assignments were lengthy. I took 2 courses at a time but started them on different months. That way the mid-terms and final projects were not due at the same time. That is something you could do too if you want.

Thanks everybody! I appreciate all of your advice... I'm going to formulate the spreadsheet like you mention, mrs.b—that's a great idea!
Anyway, I signed up for three! After mulling it over, I decided to take Auditing, Intermediate Accounting II, and Fundraising for Nonprofits. I'm sure the next three months will be insane for me, but as long as I can still get a good grade it will feel good to get three done at once. Then there will only be three more to go!
I'll let you know how it was after the fact. I'm already starting to go bald (widows peaks), but maybe this will speed up the process!
