MBA or MSOM
#11
Yes, you are right about the MBA.

It is the Masters of Museum Studies which requires only 2 courses in residence. The three extension courses before admission are $1000. each through the Contin Ed Division. Once admitted into the conventional program, the traditional costs apply.

In cyberspace you're only as old as your font! :-)

I'm eyeballing that Museum studies program ( yes, me- who yesterday was trying to get into NMJC for an AA on a hope and a prayer! LOL) But what the cuss...Play big or go home, right?!

Actually sounds like an interesting program...no more career changes for a bit though Smile

rebel100 Wrote:Fortunately I have an extensive Civil Service background, the ICS framework is very familiar and I have a stack of FEMA and CDP certs to demonstrate it. The MBA just feels right, if I can pull it off.

Well heck, with that background the MBA seems like a great "broadening" move. Given that, I think you made a good choice.

I would do the Harvard degree in a second if I was at my company's 2nd location up near there. But I am not Sad
Our CTO actually asked me to move up there so that I could go to Harvard. he was sort of kidding but sort of not.

Rebel100, I'm really considering Chadron State College's MBA program. I just wish I had enough money to start right now. I'll probably save up and start January '12.

What I like about their program is the 8-week courses. I took some online courses through Columbia College that were 8-weeks. Its keeps things going at a pretty good pace, and you end up accomplishing more then you think you can. I also like that their program can be completed in only year. Their tuition is pretty good as well. Only $750 per online course.

Let me know what else you find out about CSC.
