I know it varies by test center, but could I generally assume the waiting won't be long?
If my test time is 1 pm, I want to allot 15 minutes for waiting and being given instructions, and 1 hour for answering the questions for the easier exams. (I doubt I would need more than 45 minutes, but I am giving extra time.)
Should I plan another 15-30 minutes too? I have to schedule it tighter if I can because of disability reasons.

It does vary by test center, and even day to day, but I have found that 15 minutes is a reasonable amount of time to check your id and start the clep program.
Hopefully if you have.scheduled a time they should accommodate. Just make sure that your id is good, my testing center was really strict about this and i have watched more than one person turned away, or given a big hassle.
