What kind of computer do you recommend?

I prefer computers with Intel processors as they have worked better for my purposes.

This is what I have ordered: Dell Inspiron 15R Notebook PC - 3rd generation Intel Core i5-3337U 1.8GHz, 8GB DDR3, 1TB HDD, DVDRW, 15.6 in. Display, Windows 8 - I15RM-5098SLV (D211-156205 ) Which, I think someone here recommended.

It has not arrived yet, but expecting it any day. I am praying that windows 8 and I will come to terms somehow and enjoy a long working relationship! Alternately, I am hoping for a great return policy to get a windows 7. The zero key and the minus key joined the rebellion on my laptop keyboard, and since my desk top has been barely struggling along decided to go ahead and get something new to replace them both. Thank you one and all for your help and advice!
