I wanted to know what is the difference between the two schools? What school can I test out of all my classes? What is the best degree plan to go with in order graduate the quickest? Besides test and material cost, how much will have to pay the school? Is the best way to do it is decide what school to go with and then take exams or what? Thank you for all your help!

It would probably be very helpful to know what degree you plan to pursue and what credits if any you already have. That will help in determining which school is the best fit for your needs.

You can completely test out at TESC. EC requires a capstone to be taken with them and an information literacy course which I don't think has an equivalent test. TESC's degree programs are simpler and more flexible. I believe TESC accepts more tests as UL credit, but they only require 18 UL credits in the major for the whole degree program. EC requires about 30 if I remember correctly (some being in the major, some being in general ed).

As a comparison, Charter Oak requires two classes (cornerstone & capstone.) They also require 30+ UL credits (with at least 15 being in the concentration, though some concentrations require 24.)
From my research it looks like TESC is more expensive than EC or COSC, but it looks like it would be easier/faster to test out of a degree.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23
