TESC Transcript Evaluation timeline

I received an email from Records & Registration today in response to a question about processing an evaluation without all transcripts, this is the response

We will process your evaluation within approximately 20 business days of when your application was processed (12/11/12). We will assess any transcripts we have on file at that point, even if some have not yet been received. We will update your file at a future date if additional transcrpts are submitted. You will receive an email notification from us upon the completion of your initial evaluation.

Application Fee Paid ($75): 11/20/2012
Application Accepted: 11/29/2012
Application Processed?: 12/11/2012

Expected evaluation: 1/10/2012 unless they're taking an extended holiday.

Why does this take so long! I should have all my credits completed for my AAS, I just need to get them on my evaluation ARG!

Mine took about six weeks from date of online app. All my transcripts were received within 2 weeks, the eval. 4 weeks later. The evaluation showed up in student services weeks before I ever received the email saying it was ready.

4-6 weeks is about right. My community college used to take my exam scores and sit on them for the whole semester until I said something. TESC is slow, but it is pretty consistant. In comparison to traditional schools which often don't take half the credits, all I can say is it is worth the wait.

Thanks for posting this. I, too, was wondering how long the transcript evaluation process was going to take.

They received my transcript from a prior completed degree early last week. I got my enrollment acceptance email today.

I don't understand the difference between an application being accepted and being "processed". But whatever. In the meantime, I know of half a dozen courses that I'll need to test out of for the degree, so I'll go ahead on work on those in the meantime.

My experience is the same as Pjbarney's. I enrolled twice - once back in 2004-2005, and then again in 2011 - before finally finishing what I started. I know this last time, the online student services portal updated long before I received anything saying it was done. Check the student services portal once a week or so. You'll be able to stay on top of the process much more efficiently, and prompt them if something is assigned incorrectly long before you receive letters or emails, and you'll probably be able to send in your graduation application a couple weeks before you get the notice saying your evaluation is done.
