Hi everyone,
I am new and my first Clep attempts are going to be Human Growth and Development and Intro to Psych (plan to take them by Feb 10). This thread has been very helpful, so thank you in advance. Any suggestions are most welcome by the way

Errrr...if you're new to the CLEP scene, I wouldn't exactly recommend starting with those 2, unless you were once a kindergarten teacher or psyc major at some point in your life. I tackled these two fairly late in my clepping career and didn't enjoy them. I scored a 59 in Human Growth & Dev. and a 68 in Psyc. I wish it were more, because I studied for a month and actually enjoyed Human Growth & Dev. I don't feel my scores reflect my effort. That said, I'm a very lousy memorizer, and these exams are all about memorization. Hopefully you're not like me.
Resources I used:
REA's best clep prep for both exams (really quite spot on)
The developing person through childhood and adolescence / Kathleen Stassen Berger for Human Growth & Dev. (old but great txtbk that others recommended, and luckily I found it at my library!!!!)
Cliffnotes for psyc.
REA's Super Review Psyc. I

But Snickerdoodle, isn't the point to PASS the exams, not necessarily hit super high scores? Congrats on passing those two exams! Good luck to you, Nickieys! Seeing that you originally posted in the specific feedback forum, there should be some direction in there under the names of your two exams. I would also suggest checking out free-clep-prep.com.
