What Can I Use FEMA Credits For Now?
#21
TESU did not transfer in any of my EMI/TEEX/NFA courses that were upper credits.banghead Not even talking about the FEMA IS courses as that is a different issue.

Price is just one factor if one is going to spend a whole year taking their classes.

TESU has three tuition plans. The Per Credit Tuition Plan is cost effective for those taking 6 or less credits per year in TESU courses. The Enrolled Option Plan is cost effective for those taking more than 6 credits and less than 24 credits. The Comprehensive Tuition Plan is for those taking 24 or more credits per year in TESU courses. At $9,036 for up to 36 credits, that comes out to be $251 per credit hour. That is a whole lot cheaper than ASU.

Also, I'm not sure if ASU would accept a person's ACE-approved FEMA credits. Many emergency management professionals have taken the on-ground courses that are ACE-evaluated. TESU will accept those.

We've gone through this before. You didn't try very hard to get your evaluation corrected. There is no sense in continuing to complain if you don't care to do anything about it. Your obsession with bashing TESU is just bizarre at this point. You're moving on to COSC to get an individualized studies degree. Neither your diploma nor transcript will say that you have a concentration in emergency management. I would assume it's because their accreditor won't allow students to invent their own official majors and concentrations. Therefore, your real major is individualized studies.

TESU accepted my ACE-approved TEEX courses.

You did not read my post as I am waiting for Excelsior to come out with their official Emergency Management degree. Your obsession with TESU propaganda is not my issue. I am reading from my official evaluations.

A lot of people have had problems with their evaluations, but contacted the school until they were corrected. I paid Excelsior $100 just for them to evaluate half of my credits and tell me that I needed to pay the $1,000 enrollment fee to have the rest of my credits further evaluated even though they came from RA schools. I'm not going to hold a grudge against EC because of it and post about it every chance I get.

By the way, I've criticized TESU a lot when they deserve criticism. I post about TESU the most because I graduated from there, am currently enrolled there, and know the most about them. If you call that propaganda, then so be it. I recommend them when I genuinely feel like they are the best option.

I just emailed ASU. Admission to the ASU B.A.S. degree program (complete first two years) is restricted to students holding an A.A.S. emergency management degree from a regionally accredited U.S. postsecondary educational institution.

I just emailed them to ask.

This only makes the ASU program more difficult to get into.

Hi,

As Clackamas Community College is a regionally accredited institution your A.A.S. will be accepted for the B.A.S. in Emergency Management. Here is a link providing application information and the major map for the program. Feel free to reach out to me with any other questions.

Regards,
