WGU's Master of Education, Education Technology & Instructional Design
#1
Hi there! Has anyone pursued the Master of Education, Education Technology & Instructional Design degree at WGU? My son is considering this path. He's a musician who teaches online. We'd love to hear more about other's experiences.

I haven't heard much about WGU's M.Ed program. But since it looks like he's interested in educational technologies, he may wish to consider Los Angeles Pacific University's M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology. It's $2,500 for 4 months, which may end up being cheaper and easier to do compared to WGU. I am considering this program when I am done all the other ones that I am in.

I assume this means $2,500 for each four month term, and not that that's the total cost and they're pretending a Master's degree takes just four months to earn?

Thanks. This program sounded fantastic and my son was super excited about it, but we called and the program is sunsetting.

We looked into it and yes, it was $2,500 per four month term, but unfortunately it's being sunsetted.
