Upon applying to WGU this week, there was a banner over the application form reading "Limited time offer: Apply FREE this week! Use code NOWFREE on payment page." And sure enough, using that code, WGU did not charge me an application fee.
Week may be almost up, but here's a heads up, educational bargain hunters.

I legitimately can't think of a time I've been to WGU's website and not seen a free application code. For all intents and purposes, they don't have an application fee, because you can always get it for free.
