Valedictorian a decade after previously flunking out!
#1
Here's a story of a lady who had a drinking problem that caused her to flunk out of university about a decade ago.  With support of family, including her dad who passed away, she was able to get back up on her feet and persist in completing her goal of getting that degree!  I really liked that fact that her father never gave up on her and boasted about her to others, he didn't get to see her graduate but some how he knew she'll turn out just fine... Basically, don't give up on completing your goal, persist until you get there!
