exam timer
#1
This is probably a super dumb question but I’m literally on my first course ever so I need to ask before continuing… on Sophia, do you let the exam timer run close to finish, after quickly answering all questions? Or can I just hit submit whenever I finish even if that’s in 10-15 mins? Any tips or advice before I accidentally mess things up?  Big Grin

Hit submit whenever you're done. If you let the timer run out, it may not submit properly and you could fail the exam.

Announcing on a public forum that has representatives from Sophia present (and likely even ACE folks responsible for maintaining Sophia's status) that you intend to cheat is probably one way to "accidentally mess things up."

Oh, yikes! I don't know how I missed that tidbit. Somehow, I glossed over that and thought that mombie was talking about having 10-15 minutes LEFT, not 10-15 minutes USED. Yikes.
