TESU Residency Waiver vs Flat Tuition
#1
Did most of you take the Flat tuition option and complete 16 credits at TESU to avoid the Residency Waiver?

And is the flat rate tuition every 12 weeks which is a term?

I am because I decided that I could fit in all 16 credits in one semester and be cheaper. $3192 was a bit steep for me for the residency waiver considering it's close to the price of tuition but I think it all depends on your circumstances whether its financial, time, or cost. I would weigh out all of those options especially now that there is a 90 credit cap on ACE/NCRS and community college credits. Since I took 60 credits at a private university before starting my online journey it could be easier to take only the 6 required credits at TESU. Best of luck!

how ?

were you employed full time at the time ?

which courses did you take ?

is the capstone part of those 16 ? how long did you spend on it ?

The "easiest" way would be to take the capstone, the cornerstone, & Jane Austin for 7 credits. Then add in 3 easy e-pack courses for a total of 16 credits. e-pack courses are essentially TECEPs but you pay full price for them and they count towards your residency requirement.

I don't think most of the people on here have done that, and they didn't even have that option when I was enrolled. Using e-Pack's to lighten the load is a relatively "new" way of looking at it, and fairly recent to this forum (I'd say in the last 6 months maybe?).
