HELP with TESU BSBA- Finance degree eval
#1
I got my eval back from TESU for their BSBA in Finance and I am confused by the social sciences requirement.

I copy and paste'd a bit and the formatting is off but maybe you can help. My question is: if I complete through Sophia Learning:

project management (3 credits) & developing effective teams (1 credit) would it meet the missing 2 credits in social science and 2 credits in electives sections? I would like to avoid sophia courses that require touchstones. (psych, soc)

Project Management isn't a Social Sciences class - it's a business class. I think Developing Effective Teams is the same.

Check: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...l_Sciences Intro to Sociology would also work, but the new course has 2 Touchstones.

Take one of the suggestions above + Developing Effective Teams. That would indeed net you 3 Social Sciences credits + 2 more electives.
In progress:

Thanks! 28 of my transfer credits are from my community college. I have an anthropology class that they applied under diversity intercultural literacy... would it be an option to take sophia's ancient greek philosophers to go under Diversity Intercultural literacy and have the anthropology class meet the social science requirement?

I think that it should work, but I'm not positive. Greek Philosophers has an assignment, though. It's not really recommended unless you also need Ethics. But it's ultimately up to you and your preferences.

Project Management & Developing Effective Teams are not GE's, they're Free Electives or Business electives.

Ancient Greek Philosophers won't work as Diversity, and it's a Humanities rather than a SocSci course.  You're going to need to choose an actual SS course (psych, soc, anth, econ, CJ, etc.).

If you want to fork out a few dollars more, you can take the TEEX courses, they all come in as AOJ/CJ courses, determine which one is for you and take them.. the pricing may have gone up $10-$20 depending on which course you're inclined to take, but these are all open book and non-proctored. The pricing update is reflected on the wiki - https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/TEEX

TEEX isn't currently listed as active in the National Guide, so I wouldn't expect TESU to accept them right now.

Oh snap! That's right, I forgot about that, it's been about a month, I thought they would be on the ball and get that rolling...
