Oh jeez. So it worked on my phone, but I had to cut it in two. First screenshot has the ACE courses that went in. The second has what UMPI transcribed them as.

They counted The Institutes as 3 credits and it came in as Intro. to Philosophy. That replaced an RA class, so that's not ideal with them only taking 30 ACE credits. They took Shmoop, CSM, and my old NFA credit. I was hoping CSM would cover one of my math requirements, but it just came in as a General Elective. Also, Project Management came in as IT Project Management. Kind of odd since it didn't cover IT at all.
I hadn't finished Sophia Ethics or Statistics when I sent my transcript, so I'll post an update with those, but it looks like they should take them. Just not entirely sure where they'll fall. Their system seems only half-intuitive.
All told, 108 credits transferred in, 43 of which were what they consider ACE credits. That's not counting 9 or so CLEP exams and 2 UExcels that had to be snail mailed. I'm hoping they let me curate which of those credits get put on the final transcript. I'm guessing so, since it says "posted" next to all 108 credits and you can only transfer in 90.
I'll continue to update everyone with my progress. I'll post my own thread once I actually enroll in the program and see how many competency credits I need to take with them.
BTW, I seem to only be able to post a quick reply, so I can't add my screenshot. Anyone else having this issue?
Keep in mind that you must complete 30 credits at UMPI and a. specific number in your major as well. I transferred in 186 credits and I'm not done at Sophia yet. It's more like they give you a credit bank and include everything you've taken then figure out what you need still to complete their degree and the 30 minimum credits. I start on the 31st and am working with my academic advisor today on my course selection.

I’m hoping it turns out that way. I haven’t spoken with my advisor yet. She e-mailed saying she was waiting on the degree audit to reach out. What I posted wasn’t the degree audit, just a list of transcripts accepted.
Please keep us updated after your conversation. I’m curious to see how that process pans out.

My degree audit came today. I have a meeting with my academic advisor this evening. I already know all of the courses I have to take at UMPI. I actually asked them to remove a transferred course so I could take their version. I took project management at CSU Global but we did not use Microsoft Project at all. We wrote papers about the theories of PM instead. So switching that course out helps and it's required for my degree at UMPI. We all have to take a minimum of 10 courses (30 credits) at UMPI. Their options for courses are somewhat limited but I just want to be done and move on to grad school where I'll study what I actually want. I need a degree with some background in IT to get into data analytics. I want to do digital marketing data analytics. I must be nuts! LOL

I just wrapped up my phone call and am enrolled in my classes for the Fall 1 term. A couple of these I should be able to finish in less than a week since they'll be a review. I'll still be working on some Sophia courses to transfer in. Some gen eds are just easier at Sophia and there's no point in taking them at a college if you don't have to. I really would rather take Human Biology than a 4 credit lab science online, but that's just me. We all need a language so if you need that I would recommend doing it and getting it over with. The only option right now is French. I am going to try the InstantCert Spanish course and try to transfer that since it's ACE. If they say no, then they say no, but they've been pretty generous so far.
We all have to take an orientation class as well. No credit. It's free. It starts before the term begins. I should have access to it tomorrow. I was told it takes an hour to complete. It's basically how to access your courses and how YourPace works. My classes begin Monday! They do not open early. The terms follow the same calendar as the on campus students. No holidays off unless you want to take them off. You're not stuck to a schedule either though. The semester ends before Christmas so no working then.
Any questions? Kind of wondering if we should start a new UMPI thread.

I think starting new thread is not bad idea. Did they tell you already how many courses you need to take with them ( i mean any extra courses besides 30 required credits)?
Also do you pursue BABA in Project Management or BLS Project Management?

I am in the BLS Management Information Systems concentration. Intro to PM is required for multiple degrees at UMPI.
I have 190something credits and they transferred in 186 of them. I still need to complete 30 credits in residency which is 10 classes. My goal is to finish by the end of the year. That's all I have to complete because I have met the 40 credit gen eds requirements.

I am interested in UMPI as a possibility to complete my bachelor's due to needing to finish quickly. But my goal is a B&M Master's program.
1. You need to have minimum of 3.0 GPA for last 60 credits. How does UMPI work their GPA?
2. What do the transcripts look like and how do they reflect credits brought in from Sophia or Study.com?
3. I already have about 60 credits from three different RA schools and have only taken 2 courses, so far, from Sophia and SDC.

Your UMPI GPA only includes the courses you take at UMPI.
Transcripts show all courses every taken that on are on the transcripts submitted to UMPI including grades. Not sure how SDC courses show up. Sophia says T as in transfer and the numeric grade I received in the course.
UMPI requires you to complete 30 credits with them for all of their bachelor's degrees.
Let me know if you have any questions. I'm attending UMPI right now.

Regarding the UMPI GPA, since it is only for courses you've taken through them, is it a B or nothing similar to WGU? If not, how do they determine the grade for the course?
