Becoming A Teacher Accountability
#1
Rainbow
So I've decided that I am going to WGU for Education K-8, and since I don't see a lot of people with that degree on here I thought it would be cool to write down my journey.

My Goal
Graduate in 6 months
(because that's when the term ends)

December
Foundations of College Mathematics/Straighterline
Mathematics 1/Statistics/Straighterline
Mathematics 2/General Calculus/Straighterline
English Composition 1&2/ Saylor
Survey of World History/ Straighterline
Survey of U.S. History/ Straighterline
Survey of U.S. Constitution/Straighterline
Intro to Biology/Straighterline
Intro to Humanities (Philosophy)/Straighterline
Intro to communication/ Saylor
Goal Finish by Jan 11.

This is ambitious but flexible, it's the effort put forth that makes a difference. The problem is I can't afford Straighterline right now, so in the meanwhile I'm going to study from Khan Academy and the internet. That way when it comes time to pay for the Straighterline courses, I'll learn most of the material and can breeze right though it.

I don't think Saylor's English Comp I & II are ACE or NCCRS approved.

Also, their Intro to Comm isn't either. They do have Principles of Human Comm, but I'm not certain it counts for what you need it to. I would double-check with WGU before you take it.

Also, make SURE you get all of your courses done and sent over BEFORE enrolling at WGU. Once you enroll, they won't accept any additional courses.
