Univ of People partners with Sophia.org for degree pathway!
#1
Hmm, for some reason or another, I saw this coming since Uof People accept up to 90 credits of ACE and/or college credit transfers.  Previously, several members have asked about sub $2K Bachelors and the closest to getting there was the Uof People, but now, there have been some members who completed UMPI BAS or BLS for about the same price or less using similar options!

Uni of People
App Fee: $60
Sophia.org $99/month (If you get all 90 transfer credits)
Course Assessment: $120 each, $120 x 10 = $1200
Course Transfer: $17 each, 30 x 17 = $510
Total: $1869 USD for 1 NA Bachelors

UMPI (1 session)
App Fee: $0
Sophia.org $99/month (If you get all 90 transfer credits)
Session: $1400 each, (If you finish 30 credits in 1 session)
Total: $1499 USD for 1 RA Bachelors

Note: Be prepared to pay for extra Sophia.org monthly membership.
It may take 1 extra month or 2 of Sophia.org to get all 90 credits to transfer.
This is due to the number of courses and written work that needs to be graded.

Alternative: Instead of Sophia.org, another option is taking 30 CLEP for FREE
You'll spend a bit more time with studying and proctoring for more affordability
You can also mix this with Saylor.org $5/exam and/or 'TADA/TEEX freebies' on the WIKI.
Plus Onlinedegree.com $9/exam (that is if either institution takes Onlinedegree.com)

I did all my electives and gen eds with Sophia and have had scholarships for most of my time at UoPeople. I would pick UMPI as it is faster but languages hate me lol You have to remember there are also online proctoring fee for around 9 courses.

It depends on the degree and how much free time you have. Yes, it is possible. Others have done it. You may have to put aside everything except for UMPI for 2 months, but it can be done.
