#1
Hello I am leaving for Air Force BMT on tuesday, I am currently at 48 credits with my current school but I've been informed that some schools accept credit for BMT and Tech School. Does anyone have experience with this?

you'll be going to the 345th for tech school.

Fact Sheets : 37th Training Group : 37th Training Group

Have fun.. and follow the rules once you're in tech school.

Your BMT will "automatically" be counted as Physical Education, and your tech...well it depends. The school that you pursue your BA/BS is the final determining factor of how much credit will be accepted. However, if you already have 48 hours then you should be pretty close to completing your AAS from the Community College of the Air Force (that takes a little time though).
A.A.S Aviation Operations (Community College of the Air Force) April 2008
B.A. in History (Thomas Edison State College) March 2009

I was in the USAF from Nov 1982 to Nov 1986. Excelsior has only given me credits for my Tech school in Airframe Repair. I don't have my transcript from the CCAF handy so I can't tell you what Excelsior didn't give me.
BA Liberal Arts in 2014 from Excelsior College. (Took 25 tests)
