They don't need to copy and paste the same question to a new thread to get more information or a second opinion.

If you think asking why someone is posting the same question twice is similar to physical violence, you're probably spending too much time online and need to sign off and relax.

Question
Ok, so let's reel it back a few notches.

A message to the OP- when you make a thread, if you feel like it's gone cold and hasn't gotten any answers, a good thing to do is post a reply inside the thread- it will bump it back up and appear as an "unread" post by anyone who comes here. That's a sure fire way to draw more attention.
Also, people are very helpful here, so if you don't get a lot of buzz, maybe add more details, add comments, or more information. It's possible that people don't have enough information to make a contribution.

This was a decent amount of activity based on a double post but I get the value of forum etiquette. Perhaps the OP didn't think about just asking within the first post "Are There Any Other Opinions"? As why to ask again after not liking the first round, I see the value to try again for a greater pool of responses. For all we know, he could have loved the responses and just wanted to get more validation from the forum.

So if you read the first post, there were no responses about the school or program - only my snarky response that the college didn't have a good name, and someone else agreeing with me.

It wasn't "dead", but I just think no one had an opinion to share - most people here probably haven't gone there and don't have anything pertinent to say (and not a single post on this second thread added any relevant info either).
