Hello
I'm new here, but I've been reading many of the posts and WOW! So much helpful information!
I'm currently still completing courses at Sophia; I started on July 9, 2023, and aim to apply by September 19 for the October start at UMPI.
Your Location: European Union
Your Age: 31
What kind of degree do you want?: BABA (Management & Leadership), going for a MSc Financial Technology next year.
Any certifications or military experience? None
Budget: $2.5K
Commitments: a kid
Dedicated time to study: minimum 8 - 10 hours a day
Timeline: I would like to finish by mid-December at the latest, so that I can apply for my master's right after (before the January deadline).
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: None
Current Regional Accredited Credits: None
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits:
Sophia Credits: 24
Visual communications - 3
Intro to web development - 3
Intro to information technology - 3
Project management - 3
Intro to Ethics - 3
Financial accounting - 3
Intro to business - 3
Environmental Science -3
I still have to finish English Composition I (I've got 1 paper left)... could've done it earlier, but I hate that course and found out too late that I should've done it at UMPI
Here's the spreadsheet I'm using to track my progress.
Are the genEds and electives ok? I checked the degree plan available, but I still want to ensure I don't have unnecessary courses.

@ktll, Welcome to the board, wow, that's an awesome and detailed spreadsheet! It seems fine from a first glance, I would continue working on Sophia.org first then move to Study.com and finish at UMPI. Keep going with the planned courses and you'll be there in no time... BTW, I am curious, you're going for a MSc Financial Technology next year, which one would that be?

Thank you!
I'm going to apply to a few on-campus UK universities (Imperial (my first choice), City, Kingston, and UCL), but I'm keeping my options open for online masters as well (just in case things don't go as planned).

At least you found out before you started on English Comp II. The second one is significantly worse than the first one at Sophia.
I also love your spreadsheet. So easy to understand! Would you mind making a copy available for students to download?
Your GECs look good, for the most part. You don't need both Art History classes. You only need one. Unless it's for the grad program, you definitely don't need Calculus AND Algebra AND Stats. Two math courses for the GEC to meet minimum credit requirements would be fine. I would get rid of Nutrition and do Greek Philosophers instead. I'm not sure if Nutrition will count for GEC credits because you'll already have Human Biology. But Greek Philosophers will certainly count. It's very, very short and has just one paper; it can probably be completed in just a day. Maybe two.
Every GEC requirement can be met by only one class, but each class can meet multiple requirements. So, if you take both Art History classes, for instance, one will meet GEC 2E and the other will only be an elective.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Sure! I wanted to edit my first post to make the spreadsheet available to download, but I think I'm allowed to edit a post only once.
So here is the downloadable spreadsheet.
Also, thanks for the recommendation on the courses... I'll follow your advice.

Great spreadsheet. Your path looks good. The only problem I see is you wont have your degree conferred for a January start date. It has been taking a few weeks (5-8) after the term ends to have your degree finalized.

January is only the application deadline, but the start date is September 2024.

Great idea keeping your options open, the BABA Management & Leadership is a great degree for you then, good choice and option to ladder upwards for any of the on-campus institutions you mentioned.
