UL biology course for use in Degree program
#1
Good day everyone,

I have a question for some of the more seasoned persons than myself, I am currently looking for an upper level biology course in which to add to my degree program, I am currently working on a BA in Natural Science and Mathematics and trying to fill in the core/upper level courses. I found the pathophysiology test from Excelsior but did not pass it and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on completing this concentration area. I was thinking of trying the bioelectricity from coursera and possibly the straighterline microbiology lab? But am a bit lost on available option, and was kind of wondering the the study.com pathophysiology would work as UL credits? Below is my current list of completed courses for the concentration area.

A: Concentration
> Complete 24 semester hour credits in the Natural Sciences.
> Among the 33 credits required within the entire
> concentration:
> -at least THREE different subjects must be included for

> subject.
> -A maximum of 18 semester hours can be earned in any ONE
> subject area in order to have a balanced interdisciplinary

> concentration.
> -A maximum of SIX credits at 100 level can be applied
> toward the area of concentration.

May I know what course/exam are you using for Biological Aspects of Aging? I'm looking for another 3 UL credits.

I don't know of any other low-cost UL Bio options other than the ones you've listed. I know that Physiological Psychology will transfer as UL Natural Sciences credit to TESC though. Course equivalency would be PSY-374.

If cost isn't that big of a deal, all of the Harvard biology courses taken for graduate credit will count. Some taken for undergraduate credit may count, but you'd want to confirm with TESC first. I took one and thought it was fantastic. No application or transcripts required, just register and go. Biological Sciences Courses | Harvard Extension
