UL Psych courses for COSC
#1
Hi--I am planning to enroll at COSC for the Aug 24th start date with the cornerstone class for term A. I have 100 credits from prior schools, and looking to complete a Psychology degree at COSC. I only need UL classes, and the preliminary advice I received from COSC was 15 hrs/credits of psych and 15 of other UL credits. So far I have this plan:

Study.com

PSY 301 Industrial/organizational
PSY 306 advanced abnormal
PSY310 Psych of personality
PSY 312 History and Systems of Psychology
PSY 315 Advanced Social Psychology

I believe I will need to take the behavioral statistics class at COSC, hopefully with the cornerstone, even though I have already had Statistics (Stat 2023). I would really appreciate any advice or guidance on this process. I move quickly through classes, so I am hoping to be approved to register for the capstone class in the Term B if I can finish these classes and have them transferred. Any suggestions for other quick ways to obtain UL credits/hrs is appreciated.

Thank you in advance!!!

Remember that one of your upper division courses, and in your major, will be Capstone.

But I'm curious, the requirements at Charter Oak for Psychology seem pretty specific. How does what you're doing fit into them?

BS, Information Systems concentration, Charter Oak State College
MA in Educational Technology Leadership, George Washington University
18 doctoral level semester-hours in Business Administration, Baker College

The general psych degree is the most flexible. My admissions counselor indicated that I only needed 15 hrs of UL psych and 15 hours of anything else UL. One of my transcripts has not yet arrived (snail mail), so I am hopeful that at least 9 of the hours on that transcript will be UL. I am also specifically looking for Statistics for behavioral sciences as a quick course/exam, and cognitive psych.
