WGU has an Intro to Humanities course that is worth 2 credits. I took it at WGU. Charter Oak has a 3 credit requirement for fine arts, for which these 2 credits counted. I tried to see if they would count this course as equivalent to a 3 credit course, and exempt me from another fine arts class. This was the email they sent me in return.
"Charter Oak does not transfer in credit equivalencies, only actual credit amounts. If the course you took at WGU was a 2 credit course, it can only transfer in as such and can't be changed. You should speak to your Academic Advisor regarding your options to fulfill the Fine Arts requirement."
So Charter Oak transfers in raw credits, not course equivalencies. I just thought I would pass this information on.
