web cam proctoring with proctorU. A staff person there told me if needed, they have done other ways of web cam proctoring if something didn't work with proctor U. But I had no problems with proctorU so I didn't need to ask more info.

Grade based on final exam. Some courses (such as English Composition I) may have other assignments with some papers but not the two I used. It was on your own pace to read the online text chapter power points (20 or so chapters worth), then self study from self guide flashcards. Similar to how it works for clep exam study... study materials and take test. I did not buy the textbooks in print. I used the online chapter power points for class. In sports psychology this included links to some teaching videos too)
format of exam can vary depending on course. some are all multiple choice (sports/exercise pyschology, and stress management for examples). others are some multiple choice, some short answer (like a fill in the blank with complete sentence), and some longer essay which means about one paragraph answer to expand a concept (sociology of jewish food for example, and this course gives a sampler of question style to be more ready for format). If in doubt, you contact them and ask for syllabus or more detail on a specific course before buying it.
TESU: BALS June 2021 (comm college, clep, sdc sophia coopersmith, SOS110, and capstone)

There are no classes to speak of.  You purchase the course, they provide you with a study guide, usually in the form of one or more PPT decks.  They will suggest a textbook for you to rent or purchase on your own.  Depending on the course, they may include a free e-textbook as well.  Once you're ready for the exam, you take it through ProctorFU.

Yes.

No.
