Hey good people.
A question to the folk studying through EC.
On one of my old transcripts, there are a couple of (dare I say it) fail grades:o
Will these failed grades be overlooked and only the passed grades taken into consideration?
What is EC's ruling?
I hope I explained myself properly:confused:

Excelsior will only accept transfer credit with a grade of C or higher. Anything lower will ride off into the sunset.

April 4 2009 through July 6 2009: 1 GRE subject exam + 1 Penn Foster credit + 11 DANTES exams = 61 credits. Average per-credit cost = $23.44.

The good news is that by dropping D and F grades EC gives you a fresh start. It only takes a few bad grades to drop you average below a 3.0, and now, poof, they are gone!
The other nice thing is that the give you a transcript rollup with only those C and above grades from the past. Makes us all look like we were great students.
Now just watch out that you don't get bad marks on an EC exams. From what I understand they show D and F grades from these exams.

Well, it gives you a fresh start until you're putting together your grad school applications! One of the programs I'm looking at only requires a transcript from the degree-granting post-secondary institution (Capella, which as a non-traditional school is more accustomed to non-traditional students). All the others want every transcript from every post-secondary institute.
Those D's and F's and I's from 20 years ago will follow me around like a lovesick suitor with bad breath and all the social graces of a rabid rhinoceros.
