How many FEMA credits will Thomas Edison accept?
#1
Do they have a maximum number you are permitted to transfer? Also, can they be used for General Education Electives or only free electives or both? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Free electives, and you can use up to 27 for that. That's not including if you're doing a Human Services Degree in Emergency Management, then you can use more.
I'm done!

I'm confused ....

I have read elsewhere (this board) that TESC will accept 18-25 depending on your degree. Although not yet enrolled, I will attend TESC for BS in Business Administration.

How many FEMA credits apply towards the 120 credit requirement?

The TESC Catalog does make a one sentence mention of FEMA courses. The availible credits listed there are 1 to 25 credits. Unless you are majoring in Emergency Management (or something similar), the FEMA credits will ONLY count as 'Free Electives'. For any of TESC business majors, there is a total of 18 'Free Electives' credit allowed. It doesn't matter if you do 18 or 30, only 18 credits will be applied using FEMA credits and they will all go towards Free Electives.

That's good to know.

Can someone guide me through CLEP, DSST & Dante? I am certain, with 10 years of business acumen that I should be able to test out of a few things.

What about PLA, how many credits can I expect for prior learning?
