Over the past few months we have received many inquiries about our courses from members of this forum, and some of the members thought it would be helpful to everyone if I made a post clarifying some of the most common points that have come up.
- TorahCollegeCredits.com is Coopersmith Career Consulting's online testing system.
- All transcripts that we send for General Education credits are official Coopersmith transcripts.
- All of our courses are approved by NCCRS and transfer to the big 3 as recommended on the NCCRS site. This includes our 21 upper level credits. If your adviser does not acknowledge this, contact us and we will clear it up with them.
- We offer a 2 credit Information Literacy course for $135 plus $25 fee to ProctorU which fulfills the EC requirement.
- Virtually all of our courses are self study with one exam to complete. We provide all the study materials you may need.
I will be monitoring this thread for follow up questions.
Our website has lots of information including pricing. Right now till April there is a special discount enrollment fee of $50.
I must add that I've been very impressed with the supportive camaraderie of the members of this forum, and I look forward to helping you achieve your goals as efficiently as possible.

Just recently, I was wondering when TCC would join (like TEEX and the rest). Logged in today and saw this. Welcome to the forums!

After someone registers for an exam, what is the time limit for how soon it must be completed?
I don't know what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future.

Wow, these look very interesting. I have a few questions.....
1) Is ProctorU the only option for taking the exam or are students allowed to obtain their own proctor (from like a college testing center)?
2) Would either the English Comp I or II fulfill the Written English Requirement at Excelsior?
3) Am I understanding that the price for say English Composition would be $50 (initial fee through April) + $255 (3 credits x $85 for the exam) or is it $50 + $85?
Thanks!

Thanks for the warm welcome.
1. Testing centers may be set up as proctors.
2. Yes, Eng Comp I and II fulfill the written English requirement at EC, TESC and COSC
3. English Comp I consists of five essay assignments and one exam.
The directions for the essay assignments are very thorough and include sample essays; additionally there are short video instructions to help guide you. These essays are written at home at your own pace, and you can contact us anytime you need help.
The exam covers basic writing form, punctuation, and grammar. There is a study guide which covers everything you need to know. This exam needs to be taken with a proctor which we can set up near by you, or by using ProctorU.
English Comp II consists of six essay assignments with similar guidance to Eng Comp I.
The cost for each course is $255 plus a one time enrollment fee which is now at a special rate of $50. This rate is good till April
