To Any Aspiring Lawyers
#1
I just received my first acceptance letter from the University of Miami School of Law. It was a safety school and I'm anxiously awaiting decisions from a handful of others. I earned my BA from TESC last year entirely through examination, which means no GPA, and I just got into a tier 1 law school.

But the real point I'd like to make is this: If I can do it, so can you!

That is awesome! Congratulations! I've been coming across a lot of people lately who think TESC is viewed as a diploma mill by employers and graduate schools.

An excellent LSAT score would probably dispel any of those sorts of doubts, if they exist for any law school in question.

I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I'm going to law school primarily for the rigorous intellectual training. The legal market is in the pits right now.
My goal is to earn a PhD in Psychology with a focus on Intellectual Developmental Disabilities so that I can teach and do research at the university level.

purely out of curiosity, how did you graduate "with honors" (your signature), without a GPA?
