Hi Jeff080,
Congratulations on successful completion of your exam! I noticed from you initial post that you are taking classes at ERAU, and I am looking to start back in school there to finish a major in Proffesional Aeronuatics. I was curious as to what you are majoring in, and what your experience has been with ERAU excepting CLEP credits. I had passed Macroeconomics but ended up dropping out due lack of funds before submitting my CLEP results about 3 years ago. I noticed whenever I asked my conselor about CLEP they were very vague and unheplfull. Good luck with your studies.

My degree is also the Pro Aeronautics with a minor in aviation safety. ERAU is good with cleps, however, your last 10 classes must be through them. Basically, as soon as you hit 90 credits, game over for the cleps. Attached is the list of what cleps/dsst's they accept and what classes they count for. ERAU is a great school, I plan on finishing my masters with them as well. Good luck!

Hi, Thanks for the insight on the clep, looks like I am just about to the 90 hour limit as I am sitting at 86 hours right now and I have completed 18 hours of my 30 hours required for residency. My minor will be in management as they accepted all my management classes from Uni of Phoenix, and awarded me quite a bit of credit for all my pilot certificates. So I am hoping to squeeze a couple more Cleps out of them before I actually have to start taking and paying for classes. Thanks again for your insight! Are you a pilot as well?

Glad it helped you out. I am not a pilot, I am an F-16 crew chief by trade but currently serve as an F-35 maintenance instructor. Hopefully by summer time i'll have a commissioned officer slot
