Hello Forum,

I am so so close to graduation. I am down to only needing 9 more credits and I am planning on having 6 of those done in the next couple days. My question is about the graduation fee and the residency waiver fee. Do I have to have my residency waiver fee paid right at the same time I do my graduation application (this goes for if I do it in mid June and its not actually due until July 1st. My second part of the question is would TESU take payments for this so I can pay as it gets closer or do the want the whole shabang in one payment. I feel like I will have an easier time paying for it if I take the money out each paycheck and just pay them rather then trying to hold onto it.

You don't have to pay both at once BUT you do have to have both paid by July 1 AND you have to pay the graduation fee at the time you fill out the graduation request form.

For example, I paid the residency waiver in March or April. I did not apply for graduation then. When you do go to apply for graduation the page you fill out says you have to make payment at the time you submit that form. So you can submit that last if you want.

I don't know if TESU will take payments. I think that could be a nightmare for you (and them) to keep track of but you can always ask. As it was, I couldn't find any place online to pay the residency waiver. I had to call and have it added to my account. Then I had to email someone to let them when I made the payment online so they could check some box somewhere. Most likely you will have to do the same and you could ask then. You have a little less than 9 weeks so maybe you could work something out with them between now and then.

I've searched on this before, because I would rather pay over time too, but the only real thing I found was your other thread.

And on TESU's site, the only thing is a payment plan for people doing Comprehensive Tuition. Most places will have their payment plan options linked clearly if they offer them.
