Thanks, but I would rather be played by Darth Vader!

Hey, look! This 1971 public service announcement for our favorite College-Level Examination Program won the advertising industry's famous Clio Award.

Well you know you're in the Mad Men era when a woman in a miniskirt and a tight blouse walks across the scene for no real reason, in a 60-second film about Lincoln.
Other than that, I applaud this ad!

This circa late 80s-early 90s ad failed to win any award, I hope.

Although, I have a feeling this hair metal band isn't too busy these days. I nominate the frontman to play the critically important – without-which – but so far uncast sgloer! Who I'm sure is now living the rock-and-roll lifestyle, on everyone's InstantCert subscription fees. :p

Holy Crap - I so recall watching this commercial in the early 70's; it was usually on WPIX Channel-11 during Star Trek Reruns![/COLOR]

Already posted it on Facebook.
Here is the problem with these ads and all the other marketing around CLEP. They always say "get credit for what you know" which leads people to believe that they can only CLEP out of one or two courses they are already experts in. This is why I never did it. I didn't realize I could study for them and take practice tests. If someone had told me that simple fact I would have CLEPed out of a lot of courses in the 90s. I really didn't like attending college and could read books and learn material even faster then than I can now.

Wow... Some people seem to have plenty of time on their hands!
Since I don't watch many movies or pay attention to celebrities, I hardly know who any of the people mentioned are! But this thread has given me a good laugh! I am just glad no one casted anyone for me! :leaving:
