Indeed. I always tell people that degrees and certifications are door openers, but you shouldn't expect them to automatically lead to a job. They'll get you interviews (and I bet this guy gets looked at a lot), but employers want to see demonstrable experience that you can actually do the job well. A great cautionary tale. Thanks for sharing it.
