I have heard of a lot of these. My son uses DuoLingo for his French class. I think it has helped him a lot.

I use PowerSchool every day for my job. It has a very attractive-looking interface, but it is terrible for finding the right reports that you need for data. You kinda have to be “techy” to use it for reports and know exactly what data fields will pull the info you need. And the data fields are not simple text fields. They correspond to a state data collector that only EMIS managers use. It also is very clunky when it comes to syncing appropriately. Certain fields are date-driven, so if other related programs sync to it, your data will be wrong. I am really not a fan of PowerSchool.
I previously used a different suite called ProgressBook and although the interface reminds you more of a DOS based program, it’s actually A LOT more user friendly and super easy to pull what you want for reports.
