Testing centers in VA??
#1
Can anyone help? I've called my local colleges- neither of them are participants, but they accept credits. I've tried the "getcollegecredit" site- it doesn't work. Any advice?? Studying now, and hoping to take the first test this week.

Thanks!!!

If you are studying for a CLEP exam call their 800 number and talk to them directly. If you are studying for a DSST exam then call the Prometric 800 number. Both have websites where you can search for a test center by zipcode. The phone numbers and search features are on their websites. I can never get links to link here so I won't try. Good luck!

I'm in VA I have tested at Northern Virginia Community College, as well as a Devry Campus. NVCC charged a 75 fee for proctoring while Devry charged only for the exam. I believe that University of Phoenix also does testing with a relativly small fee. Where are you in VA?

rain2wine, I'm taking another exam today in Crystal City, at DeVry. If you PM me I can give you the contact info there. They will do exams M-F from 12:00 - 6:00. They offer both CLEP and DSST, so if you can make it out to Crystal City... they are a very good option, especially since they do not have a proctoring fee.

Both Lord Fairfax Community college campuses give CLEP tests. There is one in Warrenton, VA and the other is in Middletown, VA. I use the one in Middletown because they are open from 9-1 on Saturdays. Hope this helps!
