Hello,
I'm currently doing SL and plan on doing TECEP on all my TESC courses to finish up. If I do this, what would one write as GPA when applying for jobs? The field I'm in always asks for this.
If I take one course, to get a GPA, and get an A, would you consider me having 4.0?
Thanks,
leswede

Yes, if you took 1 course, that would be your GPA at TESC. I have 1 course at a cc, I have a 4.0 there.
Will they look at your transcripts to see your GPA, or do they take you on your word? Will they look further into it?

That's a loaded question. Would "I" consider you have a 4.0 GPA? No, I would assume its around the low 2s, since P/F CR/NCR equate to a C equivalency.
Now officially, the answer is a big YES, you do have a 4.0 GPA and it will state so on your transcript.
Keep in mind, if your education journey stops here, you're good. You can honestly without deception say on a resume that you have a 4.0 GPA because that is a determination of the school and not some national consensus. Now if you plan on going on to grad school, some (and i say SOME) grad schools may require more graded credits for acceptance.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
