Oh boy, I'm getting the run around with TESC... They are telling me that FINC 354 Investments from Columbia College and DSST Money and Banking duplicate each other! I know FinancialWorld took both of those classes and they applied them both to his core study. The academic advisor is telling me that, "As set forth by the Dean's office, students may not use both Money & Banking (FIN-331) and an "Investments" course. The content overlaps and cannot both be used in the Finance area of study."
What do I do? I don't want to take the course only to find out that they won't accept it, but on the other hand, I really don't see why they wouldn't allow it?

You can try to speak to the Dean and get clarification, or you can find another class that will satisfy it. Don't take the Investments course unless you really want to take to class for your personal knowledge.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

What do you mean? Is it a really hard one?
Well, what about taking FINC 350 Business Finance instead?
