So, I've been reading a lot of posts on this site of people completing all the requirements outside TESC then transferring in the credits, paying an enrollment fee and immediately applying for graduation. So far I haven't seen a post where the person came back and said it worked. Does this work?

I wonder because as I was reading TESC FAQs, I came across this:

"Effective September 1, 2008, the Thomas Edison State College GPA will be based solely on graded credits earned through Thomas Edison State College coursework ... Students must have a 2.0 or above GPA to graduate"

So, if I'm reading that right, it means you have to take at least 1 class with them and earn a 2.0 or above to get a GPA to graduate?

They can graduate without taking a course through TESC because the graduate does not get a GPA from TESC. In other words, the transferred credits are not given a GPA by TESC on the student's graduation. They graduated with a bachelor's but have no GPA to report. However, if the student takes one class through TESC and makes an A, TESC reports the student having a 4.0 GPA.
