Terminated by Excelsior Due to Lack of Activity

Hello Everyone, 
A friend was automatically withdrawn from excelsior, for lack of activity, below is the message he has received:

"Your record indicates that you have not met the credit accumulation requirement as outlined in the Admission, Matriculation, and Enrollment policy. Consequently, you are being withdrawn from the University."
“You will need to complete at least six credits within the next year. Your request will be reviewed, and if approved, your enrollment will be reactivated.”

He had already completed the cornerstone, capstone and Info Literacy and was only needing 6 Upper Credits.
He has just completed 3 Credits and was made aware of the issue when trying to transfer the course.

Did anyone have the same issue?
Will he need to take additional courses at Excesior or can he just take the 6 required new Credits at any institution?

He should just be able to take 6cr and transfer them in.

Make sure he finishes and gets his degree - letting your enrollment lapse is a terrible idea, as they could easily change the requirements prior to re-enrollment. Have him re-enroll immediately, and get the remaining credits asap!
